Suzanne Kohn Modigliani, a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, earned her master's in social work from Boston University.Her thirty years working with families have included positions in child welfare, adoption, mental health, home health and nursing home consultation. She has specialized in geriatrics for over eighteen years.

 

Suzanne has been quoted in the New York Times, Boston Globe, Good Housekeeping,The Johns Hopkins Memory Disorders bulletin, Patriot Ledger, Kiplinger's, and Kiplinger's Retirement Report. She is praised in When the Time Comes by Paula Span and quoted in the New York Times New Old Age Blog articles "Is Home Always so Sweet?", "Someone on the Line", and "When They Won’t Spend the Money." She was medical co-editor of the Harvard Medical School's Caregiver Handbook. Ms. Modigliani has taught at the Boston University School of Social Work Professional Education Program and has been selected as a trainer for the Institute for Geriatric Social Work. She was published in the Journal of Geriatric Care Management.

 

Suzanne Modigliani, LICSW, CMC, holds the highest level of licensure in Massachusetts. She is certified as a care manager by the National Academy of Certified Care Managers. Suzanne is a Member of the National Association of Social Workers. She served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers for eight years where she is a fellow. She is a former President of the New England Chapter. She received the Outstanding Chapter Member Award for 2009.
